THE GAME OF RISK

Is it boss... or is it hecka boss?!

Honestly i never got into Risk, it was really complicated, hard to enjoy. Me and my brothers just made up our own rules for it.

I love it. It really allows you to become a General without having to "Risk" it in the actual army. LOL, see what I did there? "Risk" and The Game of Risk! LOL, me weird.

Ya, but I really think it's a great strategy game!

Risk is fun.

Personally, I prefer History of the World. (Sorta similar game) cBm, you likely wouldn't like it. Its more complex than Risk.

My family and I used to play Risk quite often. Like every few weeks we would bring it out and just play. Of course it would take us like four days to play one game, but we all enjoyed it.

Its not that it was to complex, its just that the rules made no sense. Half the rules made it over complicated for no reason. It was no fun taking an hour just to reinforce one players troops, let alone attacking. So we made up our own system that worked much better.

I have no idea what risk is....

Nah, most of the rules were just added for the sole purpose of making it more complicated. I understood it, but again, it took way to long to make just standard actions. So me and my brothers made a much better version of the game.

(And for those wondering, im still grounded, but i have a couple of minutes to check my email, and im spending it here.)

My monopoly rules state you should not make your own rules-they will slow your game down.

I must agree with Monopoly. Monopoly takes long enough to finish to keep you entertained.

U know that made-up rule where for chances and chests the money goes under free parking, and the one who lands on parking gets it?
Well, my friends said ALL the money that is paid for anything, including houses (except the rent) goes under free parking, not to the bank! We ran out of money cuz noboddy gave anything to the bank. Then, I ripped a paper in quarters and wrote 500 on each of the 4. Then guess what. They complained they didn't like the money I made.

I don't know about regular Risk, but Star Wars Risk is hecka boss. =D

Never played Star Wars Risk, although i think my older brothers had it when i was a little kid...

Yes. You'll find there are MANY versions of Risk, Monopoly, Chess, and other things. Star Wars frequently has versions.

Plus, there are some Star Wars card games and such. Star Wars has a lot more than just computer games and movies.

Speaking of that, I have an AWESOME looking Star Wars board game. It had those awesome um... let's call them figurines. It had pretty much everyone up to the Attack of the Clones, since it was released during that time. (Man, I hope the lightsabers are ok. )

Never officially played it, however.

My figurines always break.

Really? All the ones I've seen are pretty durable. Though, I guess a couple of them would be a little flimsy at the skinny points.
