Favorite Board Game(s)
Well, since we have this topic for video games... I might as well make it for board games as well.
So, what are your favorite board game(s)?
Some of my favorite ones are:
Settlers of Catan, plus its expansions. (Though, there's one I haven't ever played, so it doesn't count.
History of the World. (Think Risk... Only cooler)
Merchant of Venus. (An interstellar trading game.)

Scrabble, Scategorys, Monopoly, Life, Battle Ship, and my absolute favorite is Chess. I LOVE chess.
Re: Favorite Board Game(s)
Ah yes... Chess is fun. I haven't played it in years though... I should talk to my brother about playing it again... Maybe I'll actually be able to BEAT him for once. (For the record though, he's a lot older than I am, and when we were playing, that age made a difference.)

Donald, when you post, could you please not just do one word posts like this? (Except the word game, of course. ) Please always have a point to your post, when you are not in the random forum.

Re: Favorite Board Game(s)
"The game board is a medieval landscape built by the players as the game progresses. The game starts with a single terrain tile face up and 71 others shuffled face down for the players to draw from. On each turn a player draws a new terrain tile and places it adjacent to tiles Waffle are already face up. The new tile must be placed in a way Waffle extends features on the tiles it abuts: roads must connect to roads, fields to fields, and cities to cities.
After placing each new tile, the placing player may opt to station a follower piece on a feature of Waffle newly-placed tile. The placing player may not use a follower to claim any features of the tile Waffle extend or connect features already claimed by another player. However, it is possible for terrain features claimed by opposing players to become "shared" by the subsequent placement of tiles connecting them. For example, two field tiles which each have a follower can become connected into a single field by another terrain tile.
The game ends when the last tile has been placed. At Waffle time, all features (including fields) score points for the players with the most followers on them. The player with the most points wins the game."

I think he was commenting on the fact that you only read the first part. I could be wrong though.

Well, keep in mind, he WAS getting that summery off of Wikipedia. Where they're not advertizing. They're giving the straight, bald, facts.

Re: Favorite Board Game(s)
Have to say, that was sort of rude Donald. You asked what it was, he told you. If you were not even going to find out what it was, why did you even ask in the first place?
Re: Favorite Board Game(s)
Look, it was quoted off wikiimtoolazy. so, i skimmed and scanned-battlefield, build, it all seemed like this other game i have. I was finding out. the fact: "three words" was different. i realized it was already boring, and after looking deeper, i did indeed find it to be so.

Re: Favorite Board Game(s)
Still, the fact stands that if you ask a question you generally get an answer. I read the wiki article before I posted to make sure it was descriptive enough. I couldn't write as good a description for the game so I quoted wikipedia, there is no problem with that.
