A flower that blasts birds with pollen, after attracting them over to it, so it can succesfully pollinate.
I probably should have made this a while ago. This is science news. A lot of this will be linking to national geographic, or discovery, ect. But this is all stuff on the forefront of the science community right now. I grabbed the article about the flower as a little starting tidbit.

Scientists at the DOE brookhaven laboratory have found a catalyst that is able to efficiently convert CO2 to methanol, which is a usable commodity. Theyre still looking into whether it can be implemented reasonably, but if it did, we'd be converting tons of waste into usable resources.
