ARC's Designs and such.

So, basically, I decided that rather than spam the chat with huge pictures of my artwork, I'd just start putting said photos here. First off is the LEGO minifig I made for my Kyr'galaar-II armor and other stuff for that unit. If anyone wants, I can go into super-detail about everything to numb your brains.

This is only the most recent pics, not the full process.

These are pics of the movie-poster-like drawing I made. Took about two hours, and I have no intention of coloring it.

I decided I didn't like how the face plate/visor looked, so I changed it. Clearly to anyone who plays Halo or happen to be obsessed with using it for design inspiration (looking at you, Arik ) I was looking at ODST's when I changed the look.

COOL. Im bad at anything you have to mold with your hands or with something else, so the prospect of minifig armor using moldable material kind of blows my mind.

So, I decided I wanted to make a new ship design for the various (okay, two) RP's I'm a part of, that combines a lot of the new and new-ish tech that I've taken from things like David Weber's Honor Harrington series (okay, almost all of it is from the Honorverse) to make something totally awesome.

Naturally, I looked to Halo for design ideas. it payed off pretty well, I'd say.

And the two main pics I looked at designing this thing. I also took a bit of looks from the Acclamator-class, but that isn't as not-Star Wars-y so I'm not including it :

Behold, the F6 Longarm*!

Spoiler:

The F6 does it all, from Assault Rifle (F6A1-the first three, I haven't gotten around to iron sights yet), to Heavy fireteam weapons (F6H1-the one with the grenade launcher which does slide open and closed), to Marksman rifle (F6M1-the ones with the little scope on the top and the shorter magazine), to a fireteam Repeater weapon (F6R1-the last one). Basically the F6 is the ultimate infantry weapon, complimented perfectly by the CG-8 shotgun for longarm* purposes and the DCV-IIs sidearm for your infantry's needs.

*Longarm: anything from a carbine, shotgun, or rifle often used as the primary weapon of an infantryman. Essentially the counterpart to the term "sidearm" rather than simply "pistol" or "revolver" I used it since the F6 can be considered a carbine or a rifle depending on the configuration and use.

Ohhhh I likey! And, now I want one!
