The trailer is a couple months old, but I only just stumbled across it today:

I'm REALLY looking forward to it. It comes out November first, I'm going to have to see if I can go see it in theaters. The trailer looks absolutely fantastic.

I should probably reread the book before I go see it too.

I saw a trailer for it in Theters. And hounesty... Seems like a bit of a take off of the Hunger Games. I have yet to read the books. But its sounds kinda similar.

I will tell you now, it is absolutely NOTHING like the Hunger Games, plus the book for Ender's Game came out about 20 years before Hunger Games ever did.

So, I don't really plan to watch it, but I must say, that trailer is a bit disappointing. It looks like they made some big changes, and also, this relating solely to the trailer, they didn't put in a certain line into it. Razz "The enemy's gate is down."

Oh, and the big changes being this:

Ah I see. The main thing that remins me of the Hunger Games si the fact they have kids in harms way. Razz

@JJ: That's probably solely for the trailer, you know there are often a lot of differences between the trailer and the actual film.

I loved the books. The movie better be good or I'll go mad. But I won't get my hopes up TOO much.

Saw it yesterday. It was good.
Nowhere near as good as the book, but it was enjoyable, if anything it just felt rushed, wish it had been a bit longer to better develop things.

Yeah I felt the same way when I saw it. I really enjoyed it and thought they kept it farely close to the book, except for the fact it seem rushed. To me it seemed like everything happened within a couple months in the move when in fact, correct me if I'm wrong it's been years since I've read the book, it takes place over several years.

Exactly, in the book it was like, 5 or 6 years, but in the movie they consolidated it into a much shorter period of time, I'd say less than a year.

Yeah. Are they going to make a second movie? I read somewhere that the author didn't want the second book to be made into a movie, but I don't if that's true or not.
