Great Debate #2: Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii
Console wars! Go!
Sorry PC fans, I decided to keep things simple as we already know how great PCs are as they can run everything at the best graphics aside from exclusives, have the largest selection of games, etc. etc.
Simply consoles in this debate.

Out of these I only have a wii. But I want some games on 360 and ps3 that they don't have for Wii like MW2 and 3, and some Metal Gear games.

I personally think it comes down to preference, want you want (At least as for paying for online or not and exclusives), and what your friends play. I am not a fanboy of any of the consoles, I've enjoyed playing Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. I do however play on the PS3. I say it comes down to want you prefer and want to play depending on what the consoles have to offer.

That is a very good point you make. Really in my opinion, it comes down to exclusives a person wants. For example, I like Xbox 360 the best because of great games like Halo and Alan Wake and Mass Effect, and since I am a little bit of a Microsoft fanboy. But, I still want a PS3 so I can play the Uncharted games, because they look awesome.
Online service is something to consider, and Xbox Live takes the cake for that.

Re: Great Debate #2: Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii
I only own a Wii out of these 3, but I can honestly say I have NO interest in the Xbox, and only a very small amount of PS3 games look interesting to me, and most of those are available on PC as well. So, Wii for me.
Re: Great Debate #2: Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii
I will never forgive my Wii remote. I smashed my porcelain cat statue because of it.
I never owned a Wii or cat statue.
In all seriousness, I have never owned a gaming system since I remember, so... I would go with Wii. Good arm exercise.

I never owned a gaming system as well as I support PC gaming only, however, I have layed Xbox and PS3 at some friends' as well as Wii, and it seemed far more enjoyable and real-gaming-feel-ish to me.

Dude what the heck are you talking about? Like he said it all depends on what the system offers. Sure Wii has kiddish games and stuff but PS3 and XBOX360 don't have Zelda, Metroid, and others. I'm 15 and I love the WII. And also WII gives physical fitness, which I enjoy and is an extraordinary feature.

Hah. Wii? Physical Fitness?
That is a complete joke. Same for Kinect and Move. No offense, but the only way to get a good work out is by using your thumbs... err, I mean going outside or working out.

Lets not get into a forum fight. Im having a hard enough time right now. So I'm just gonna end it as we have our own opinions. Doesn't matter.

Phinn, I respectfully disagree. Get into a good match of Wii Sports Tennis, and trust me, THAT is a work out.

Meh, I suck at the boxing. I always just end up swinging the remotes like crazy, and accidentally bashing the nunchuck into the Wiimote.
Re: Great Debate #2: Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii
Actually, no console is better than any other. Each has their own individual flaws and strengths, if you compared them all you'd basically be wasting your time.

Sshhh...
I don't think they know that.
But anyways, I agree with Plushies, each console has their advantages, and disadvantages (usually with games being restricted to one console, etc.)
But, unless we were talking about the PC...

I suppose it's like with DAWs: Everyone has personal preferences.

Indeed.
I honestly prefer either PC or Xbox, both have a wide variety of games, PC moreso because of the mods and whatnot you can do. It's fun, in my opinion. :3

Re: Great Debate #2: Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii
Even the pc though has multiple disadvantages, the main one is cost and the fact you can't just buy 1 pc for 400 euro or less and have the performance to play any game.
As for consoles Xbox and Playstation will win the next gen battle, because Nintendo don't even have a next gen console according to Ubisoft . I reckon the new Xbox will be best selling though because it seems to generally have a community of 10-18 year olds, mind you if they go down the always online route and DRMs on games then it won't be popular.
In conclusion though if you want to get the best gaming experience buy all the consoles and get a gaming pc, I however have refused to buy the wii u for multiple reasons. I tried the wii u in a shop and just wasn't impressed, the clunky tablet was not what I expected and Nintendo should have kept developing and improving their wii controllers. When it comes to motion sensors though, Sony actually were the first to do it with a home console for the ps2, ps move has advantages and disadvantages over the wii system and the Kinect system isn't actually unqiue that much. The PS move though is more unquie then Nintendo fans seem to think though because it uses different tech to detect movement and could be developed more fully then the wii system.
