Favorite Lego Theme?

Post by cBm on Sun Jun 17, 2012 12:51 am

What is your favorite Lego Theme? My favorite current theme is Kingdoms, and my favorite older theme is Aqua Raiders.

My favorite current theme is Lord of the Rings. My favorite older theme... That'd be one of the old Space themes. Things like M-tron, Blacktron, Space Police 1 and 2, Futron, Unitron. Things like that. (I'm basing this solely off of the pictures I've seen of them BTW. I've only played with a few of those sets.-

Great storyline. I loved it. Then it got canceled for the stupid hero factory. Razz

I absolutely loved Bionicle when it came out in '01 (I think that was the year). I collected all the comics up until the end of the Metru Nui line, and have most of the original Toa, Toa Nuva, and Toa Metru, including Makuta. They're all in boxes now, though. :c

I remember playing with the LEGO Arctic (I think that was the official name) sets and really liking them, too.

Castle was great! I grew up with Kingdoms, but I have a few old Castle sets, including all the main characters which is cool.

I loved Bionicle up until the Ignika stuff. By that time I was pretty much done with it. I had all the Toa Nuva (Which still are awesome! Razz), and some miscellaneous other sets. Man, when that first movie came out... Razz I must have watched it with my bros 10 time the first month we had it. Razz After that, i stopped reading all the books and comics. How did it even end? Razz

I always was interested in Arctic, but never had any of the sets unfortunately. I did have a book though, and it ended on an unresolved cliffhanger that still bothers me to this day. Razz

Plus you get Gandalf out of it, obviously. So what's not to like? Razz
