The Academy that you are trained in is built into the top of a mountaint, overlooking the desert-like surroundings. Across the Academy lies the tombs of the ancient Sith Lords, the knowledge and artifacts stolen and erased from over the years of the Jedi ransacking the tombs, grave-robbers, and the toll of time...

The Academy is a large courtyard, surrounded by statues, and an ancient temple, barracks, and Apprentices' quarters...

This is where your training will begin.

*A tall and muscular man strides across the courtyard, his black robes flowing around him, in liquid unison. His face is fixed with a look of grim soberness, that reflects his long years of battling, training, studying - all to come to this. To become a Dark Lord of the Sith.*

"Syndra...this is your new home. This is where you will learn the ways of the Dark Side. To start it off...recite to me the Code of the Sith."

Syndra, an Albino girl with a slender build looks at Mortilis with her red eyes and recites in a cold voice.

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me."

*The tall Sith cackles with a chilling laugh, replying in an evenly cold voice -*

"That, we shall see. You have just now taken the first step into learning the ways of the Dark Side...learn and use them, and it shall serve you well."

-As it was the first step. Their training had officially begun after a month, with the Dark Lord teaching Syndra all that he knew, beginning with the Force, and the history of the Sith...

*The two Sith are in a large chamber, lit by only the torches on the walls, with the Apprentice standing in the middle.*

"The Force, my Apprentice, is by all means, a tool. A way to access power, a way to gain power. Power in itself is only useful when to gain more power, to triumph over the greatest of beings. To become the greatest being. The Dark Side will assist you in this. Are you familiar with how the Sith came to be, my Apprentice?"

Syndra gives him an unreadable look before answering in the same harsh cold voice.

"I am aware of how the Sith came to be. There was the Sith purebreed species. A group of Dark Jedi went and ruled over them as gods. They eventually mingled together and the populace of that planet became the Sith. However, soon the purebreed of Sith species were gone and Sith refers to any species that follow these teachings and beliefs."

*The Dark Lord grins.*

"That is correct...we were cast out from the Jedi Order, our practices thought to be disturbing and abominable. And so, we are here. To continue these teachings...so that we may rule the galaxy."

"Which, is also why you are here...so that we may pass on these teachings, these beliefs...do not forget the reason why you are here."

*I shift my head, and continue my lecture.*

"We both are here to make sure that this legacy is unbroken, untarnished...there is no room for error in the Sith."

*Narrowing my eyes, my voice drops to a menacing whisper.*

"Do I make myself clear?"

Syndra glares defiantly at her master.

"Do you honestly think I would have spent a month training with you if I wasn't prepared for this? So yes, you make yourself perfectly clear."

*My face distorts for a moment, and you feel your throat tightening for a couple of seconds.*

*The strain then fades, and you can breathe normally again.*

"...In time, you will learn to respect me, as both your Master, and the Dark Lord of the Sith."

"But, now is not the time for punishment..."

*I stand for a moment, studying your abilities, your form.*

"I will now teach you of the seven forms of lightsaber combat."

"We will start with the first form, Shii-cho."

"Shii-cho is the first of the lightsaber forms, and the first form developed. It is composed of the most basic saber combat, of age-old fencing, such as thrusts, slashes, maneuvers. In time, however, when we surfaced...a new form was forced to be developed.

This form was Makashi, being most focused on the art of one-on-one duels with another lightsaber-wielder. While useful in this area, it is only useful in that area. Potent, yet greatly flawed.

The third form, the most defensive form of them all: Soresu. Revolves around using little effort while fatiguing your opponent, designed to facilitate defense.

The fourth form, Ataru. This form proves to be one of the most effective in single combat. It requires much of the user's strength and ability in the Force to sustain their acrobatic attacks, constantly jumping, flipping, kicking. However, in combat against multiple opponents, it will only serve to fail you.

The fifth form, Djem So and Shien. This form consists of powerful strikes against your opponent, battering down their defenses, until their opponent can do no more to defend themselves. Shien will serve well in protecting you against multiple opponents, especially blasterfire.

The sixth form, Juyo. This form is thought to be the most chaotic form of all, composed of wild and erratic attacks, meant to overwhelm the user's opponent. While it is extremely effective, it will leave you with little defense coverage, focusing entirely on offensive.

The seventh form, Vaapad. Interestingly enough, this form was created by a Jedi, although it focuses entirely on using your emotions and the heat of the battle to destroy any in your path."

"These are the seven forms of lightsaber combat. Focus in one, to be an expert, or spread out your preferrances. I personally use Djem So and Makashi, an unorthodox style of my own. But your own forms you choose, my Apprentice...will depend entirely on what you specialize in. What do you see yourself utilizing, using in combat?"

I wish to become a master of Soresu and Vaapad. That would allow me to defend against even the most relentless assualt while allowing me to use the full power of my rage to gain more power and journey deeper into the darkside of the force.

OOC: Meaning, I can't actually teach you Vaapad. Razz Sorry, Wish, but you can probably try Juyo if you want or something. If you wanted to learn Vaapad, you would have to ask Mace Windu on teaching you. Which I doubt he would. XD

OOC: That would be easier. XD

IC:

"Then we will begin. First, I will teach you of what I know on Soresu..."

*I walk forward, and draw my saber.*

*I enter a Soresu stance, my saber paralell to my neck, to the side.*

"This is a starting form of Soresu, meant to block blasterfire, and lightsabers in general. All you need to remember for Soresu, is to use as little energy as possible so as to look for your opponents weakness, and exploit it. Your blade should often be close to you."

*I then exit the stance, and take on a new one, with my blade in a similar position to Soresu, but in a more open way.*

"And this is Juyo, a heavily offensive form. This stance is meant to allow you to attack your opponent in many ways, whether it be an overhand slash, a slam, an uppercut, it will help you to overwhelm them. Allow your blade to be open, particularly away from your body, as to minimize any...accidents."

*Deactivating my saber, I now hold in my hands a single practice saber, made of metal, similar to durasteel, but much lighter.*

"Show me what you can do."

*I give you the practice saber, and suddenly two combat droids enter the room, with saberstaffs, similar to ones Magnadroids use.*

"These droids are more suited for your level...destroy them."

*They begin to advance on you.*

"As you command master," Syndra says in her cold voice.

Syndra enters the Juyo form and as the first droid approuches, slashes at it from overhead and then does a sideways slash against it chopping the droid in half. However, the other droid suddenly runs foward and does a forward stab that Syndra barely is able to dodge and she trips and falls backwards while dodging. Syndra glares contemptously at the droid and her lightsaber flys from her hands propelled by the force, ripping through the droids head and then comes back into her hand slashing the back of the droid on its way back.

Syndra picks herself up and looks at her master with a blank stare, "What shall I do next master?"

Sorry Wish, can't train fully anymore, considering it wouldn't "count" on the LMBS. But, if you ever need any advice, you know where to find me.
